After a short presentation in which Mr Goldsmith put his own "campaign in context". He fielded eighteen questions on his Action Plan for London. He gave answers to questions ranging from his plans for providing more homes (particularly on publicly owned brownfield sites), continuing investment in better transport linked to housing developments, cleaner air and safer streets, aviation and CrossRail2.

A resident in favour of a hub airport in thames was disappointed that although he accepts there is need for extra capacity Mr Goldsmith felt the answer lay in investment in a network of airports eg Gatwick & Stanstead in terms of the airport structure and the infrastructure including transport links making these airports more accessible to London. He would not be drawn on to the In/Out debate - whilst acknowledging he was in favour of leaving Europe he stuck to his stance that: "the biggest risk for Londoners, was not 'in or out' but if they chose to take London backwards" in their voting in May.

He maintained that the majority of candidates were standing with similar campaign issues, however he claims that he has credibility having as an MP fulfilled al his promises to date.

Last mayoral election less than 40% of Londoners cast their vote and both David Dean and Zac Goldsmith took this opportunity to tell voters to use their votes.
