The brain child of ex Putney residents Max & Genevieve the Sneaky Supper Party is a great night out on Saturday 15th April. Despite the big move to Oxford from Putney two years ago they find themselves in and around Putney a lot and thought it the perfect spot for their new venture.

Max told this website: "We use lots of great seasonal ingredients to create interesting and exciting dishes, and our evenings are always lots of fun, with supper served banquet style on long tables so diners get to meet and chat to new people".

Gen said: "Our menus are five course, and this time we are cooking goat for the main, and hope to raise the awareness of how good goat meat is as it is such an underused meat in this country. Normally billy goats (50% of goats born!) are killed shortly after birth as they are of little use to the dairy industry. Not only is this a terrible waste of a perfectly good animal but also of all the electricity, manpower that has gone into keeping the nanny goat alive during pregnancy. It seems crazy when you think about it! Not only does goat taste great but it is very good for you, with half the fat of skinned chicken and is high in iron and protein. So our plan is that the more people enjoy eating it, the more demand there will be and the less get wasted ".
