George and Beth Vintage Sale

'George and Beth' 'Traders of fine Vintage goods' - one of Putney's most popular events, is back this JUNE!

This unique midsummer sale is the brainchild of it's co-founders Helen and Hannah Fickling, who play host to this niche vintage pop-up sale, which has become an annual favourite amongst it's followers. Helen & Hannah area mum and daughter team who enjoy sourcing interesting vintage object d'art that are beautifully designed and made and have a history. Why George and Beth? They are their middle names!

Helen is a professional photographer shooting lifestyle interiors and exteriors. To find out more about Helen’s work go to: www.helenfickling.com

Hannah is a talented young Menswear fashion designers currently working with GAP inc in New York.

Visitors to Stratford Grove, can expect to find original hand picked vintage pieces that are unique, tactile or simply...beautifully made.

"We spend as much time as possible, whenever we can, trawling and sourcing decorative pieces from fairs and markets up and down the country," explains Helen.

Amongst their loot, you'll find an array of suitcases, storage boxes, furniture, textiles and soft furnishings, industrial fixtures and fittings, lighting, mid-century art and glass, plus numerous oddities and trinkets, which makes this POP-UP stand out from the rest.

Step outside into the garden and there's more to uncover and rummage through. Down in the Garden Shed their hoard of old gardening implements, French cafe tables and chairs, terracotta pots and obscure containers are just the tip of the iceberg!

Their beautifully design garden is a haven to enjoy. Stop for a 'cuppa' with family and friends and treat yourself to a slice of their finest homemade bakes.

You'll find 'George and Beth' tucked away in the quiet leafy cul-de-sac on Stratford Grove, a tiny street parallel to Putney High Street behind the Putney Exchange shopping centre, just off Lacy Road.

This is their 8th annual VINTAGE POP-UP sale and this year the girls are once again supporting the Meningitis Research Foundation.
