This year there will be none of the usual Christian Aid week events (10-16 May), such as the car wash, cake sale, envelope collection, or sponsored walk.

So, Churches Together in Putney and Roehampton wondered if you would accept the Lockdown Challenge?

Please get your friends and family to sponsor you doing something in lockdown; it could be washing the car, doing some exercises, baking a cake, making something, clearing up the garden, or even getting your children to tidy their room!

Christian Aid was set up in 1945 by all the churches in the UK and Ireland to help the many displaced people all over Europe, it has gone on to help needy people all over the world whose lives have been ruined by war or natural disaster. It does not work with governments, only with local organisations, of any faith, to help people restart their lives.

Churches Together in Putney and Roehampton includes:

All Saints  Church Putney (CofE)

Holy Trinity  Chrch Roehampton (CofE)

Putney Methodist Church  (Methodist)

St Joseph's  Church Roehampton (Catholic)

St Margaret's  Church Putney (CofE)
