Bernard Conche fails to turn up for his sentencing
A Frenchman living in Putney is now wanted by police after failing to turn up for a sentencing hearing. Bernard Conche was convicted of two assaults by beating and assaulting a police officer relating to an incident last year in which he threw cheese at staff and shoppers Waitrose on the Kings Road, Chelsea. The 67-year-old then went on to ram the duty manager Kimberley Taynor with a trolley, kick the security guard and arresting police officer. 31-year-old Ms Taynor told the court that he threw three blocks of the soft cheese at her. |
