Man Comes Forward After Putney 'Ticket Barrier Rage' Appeal | ||||
60-year-old man hospitalised after being pushed down station steps
A man has handed himself into police after an appeal was made to identify a person who was believed to have 'key information' about an attack on a 60-year-old man at Putney train station. On 1 February a man was pushed down the stairs after accidentally bumping into another man at the ticket barriers. He was left needing stitches after going to hospital with a head wound. Detective Sergeant Dan Holmes had described the event as “a cowardly attack on a man involved in what was simply an accident.” British Transport Police say they plan to interview in due course the man from Hampstead who voluntarily came forward. |
