Storm Doris came with an amber warning - meaning be prepared - which could cause widespread damage and disruption.

The Met Office had warned the UK: " Some very strong winds are expected on Thursday in association with storm Doris with gusts of 60-70 mph likely, and 70-80 mph on coasts and hills.

It appears that Putney got off lightly with only a report of a tree down on the emabankment and a tree uprooting further along out side St Paul's School in Barnes.
