Classes at St. Mary's Church starting this month
English National Ballet School is starting children’s ballet classes in Putney. ENBS Juniors, will be coming to St. Mary's Church on Fridays.
English National Ballet School, official School of English National Ballet is a specialist training centre for aspiring and highly talented young ballet dancers aged 16 to 19. They claim to transform talented young dancers into world-class performers over a three year programme validated by Trinity College, London.
The School was founded in 1988 by English National Ballet to train students for a professional career in dance. Today the School exists as a separate entity but maintains strong links with its parent company. Currently a third of the dancers with English National Ballet are graduates of the School.
ENBS Juniors was launched in February 2011 with the aim of providing the same high quality teaching to children aged 3 years and upwards through weekly classes which incorporate RAD syllabi, free work, choreography and other creative exercises to best develop young dancers.
Classes currently run on a Saturday in the School’s own studios in Chelsea. Due to demand four new classes were started in March at the purpose built studios in Richmond Adult Community College on Thursdays from 3.30pm. From September 2015 classes will begin in Putney on Friday afternoons.
Our classes are open to all without audition, with a focus on embedding strong ballet technique within a creative and fun atmosphere. To register for the classes, please contact info@enbschool.org.uk or call 020 7376 7076.
