Upper Richmond Road closed on Saturday night whilst firemen put out fire

Five fire engines and around 30 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at the Lahore Central restaurant on the Upper Richmond Road on Saturday (17th June) evening.

The Upper Richmond Road was closed in both directions whilst the fire fighters put out the fire.

The Brigade was called at 23:18 and the fire was under control at 01:05 on Sunday morning. Fire crews from Wandsworth, Fulham, Battersea and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene.

Part of the restaurant's basement was damaged by fire and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
