Franco Manca donated £1 for every pizza sold in first three days of trading in Putney
Neapolitan sourdough pizzeria Franco Manca is celebrating its arrival in Putney, by donating £1 for every pizza sold across 30th March – 1st April to
SHINE Again. Thestaff also encouraged Putney pizza lovers to donate any spare
pounds to the in-store charity box.
Putney-based charity SHINE Again works with children and young people who may
struggle with low self-esteem, challenging behavior, or a difficult family situation. Led by
a trained Child Psychotherapist, the charity offers one to one therapy and fun group
activities for children, alongside therapy, support and advice to families.
Ahmos Wasif, Operations Manager at Franco Manca, said: “We are strong believers in giving back to the local area and SHINE Again offers vital support to those who are
facing a difficult time. We are delighted to have supported the cause and raised £1,376 in our first three days of opening”.
Mo Smith of SHINE Again said “We work with local agencies and schools to provide
dynamic therapy for children and young people. We heavily rely on grant aid donations,
so are thrilled that Franco Manca is marking its arrival to the Putney area with this
generous contribution”.
