Around 40 firefighters were in attendance at maisonette
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called at 2.35pm today (21 february) to a fire at a maisonette on Highcliffe Drive in Roehampton. It took less than an hour for the teams to get the blaze in a five-roomed maisonette on the fourth and fifth floor of a six-storey block under control. Fire crews from Wandsworth, Hammersmith, Fulham, Chiswick, Chelsea and Wimbledon fire stations were at the scene. London Fire Brigade say that the cause of fire is not known at this stage.
