Marc Hutton had been missing for over two weeks

On Tuesday 18th March 2014, police investigating the disappearance of a man from Putney were called to the River Thames near Lots Road SW10 following the recovery of a body from the water.

He has been formally identified as 28 year old Marc Hutton, from Sefton Street, who had been missing since Friday 28th February.

Marc was recovering from minor knee surgery which had taken place on the 19th February. His family and friends believe that Marc may have suffered an adverse reaction to the anaesthetic used during the operation.

Police are treating the death as unexplained. Marc's family have been informed.
