Paddock School Wins Award | ||||||
In recognition of its work to promote inclusivity and understanding
Paddock, a special school in Roehampton, has won third place in a national annual award recognising work in promoting inclusivity and the growth of mutual understanding in society. Chestnut Grove School in Balham came first. Areas of Paddock School’s work that won praise from judges included the launch of a parent training scheme, special effort to build relationships with hard-to-reach families, an emphasis on pupils’ rights and the opening of a school café *, open to local residents and providing pupils with work experience. * The café is now closed for the summer and re-opens 21st September. |
