The new Post Office will open six days a week
A brand new Post Office has opened on Putney Bridge Road in the Rasons Convenience Store.
The new counter will be open six says a week and services will include bill payment, cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.
Customers of main UK banks will be able to access their accounts at the new branch.
Post Office services are offered from a low-screened, open-plan Post Office counter that is integrated into the retail counter, enabling customers to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside retail purchases.
The branch at 125 Putney Bridge Road, Putney, SW15 2PA started serving customers on 12 January.
The new Post Office services is available six days a week, on Monday – Sunday: 9am – 9pm.
Mohammed Islam, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said, “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best. We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office alongside the other branches at Wandsworth and Putney will ensure that people in this area of Putney have easy access to our services.”
