Thames Water replacing surface after major leak caused damage

A major leak on Priory Lane this Wednesday (4 December) has resulted in Thames Water having to close the road to traffic whilst the repair is undertaken.

This has resulted in significant traffic delays in the area which has exacerbated the problems already being experienced due to the closure of Hammersmith Bridge.

The road continues to be closed this Friday whilst the company replaces the road surface although it is open open from Upper Richmond Road to Dowdeswell Close.



A spokesperson for Thames Water apologised saying: "We’re sorry for any disruption in the meantime".
