Police & RNLI once again called to Putney Bridge to stop a suicide

On Boxing Day afternoon around 3.15pm Police were called to Putney Bridge following reports of a man threatening to jump.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Members of the public spoke to the man and he came down from the bridge. He was sectioned under the Mental Health Act and taken to hospital."

RNLI, London Ambulance and the MPS Marine Policing Unit were all in attendance.
