RHN Ride Richmond is taking place on the morning of Saturday 25 September. This is a brand new sponsored cycling event in support of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney, which provides 24 hour care and rehabilitation for adults living with complex brain injury.

This new challenge is 29.1km and follows the Pretzel route through the picturesque Richmond Park with testing climbs and mixed terrain.

There is a registration fee of £20 or sign up with a friend for £30, with a fundraising target of £250 per person. You will receive top tips on how to reach your goal as well as a JustGiving page link to kick start your fundraising.

What you will get:

• Marshalls along the route
• Finisher medal
• Snacks and drink
• Optional bring your own picnic to celebrate
• Thank you and certificate presentation at the hospital

People come to the RHN following traumatic brain injury which can be caused by traffic accidents, sporting injuries, assaults, or medical emergencies such as stroke, heart attack or asthma attacks. They also care for people living with neurological conditions such as Huntington’s disease and Motor Neurone Disease.

By taking part in this fundraising event you will help to provide additional therapies, services and equipment which will help to improve quality of life for patients at the RHN, whatever their ability.
