Rachel began her journey in May and is on her way to complete the 7km journey to our Acton Storm Tanks site. This week she arrived in the vicinity of Putney Bridge approximately 1388km (20.57%) into her journey.
On the surface, all efforts are focused on supplying Rachel with ring segments and removing excavated material by barges, since August 2019 three barges have removed spoil from Putney site. Each barge is the equivalent50 HGV lorries not traveling on local roads. A total of 17 barges have been used since the project started.
