Causing partial road closure for Tideway work on foreshore later this month

As Tideway approaches the next phase of works on the Putney Embankment Foreshore, on Tuesday 11 August, at approximately 6:00am, a large crane will arrive at the site.

Due to its size it will arrive outside normal working hours to reduce congestion on local roads. The crane, and its support vehicles, will be parked on Embankment Road until the site opens, when they will then be moved onto site.

On Wednesday 12 August at approximately 6:30am another large delivery will arrive at site. This will be parked on Embankment Road and off loaded during our normal working hours, 08:00-18:00.

For these deliveries to arrive and be off-loaded safely, Tideway will need to periodically close Embankment Road from the entrance to Putney Pier to the junction of Lower Richmond Road. This will be between 05:00 on Tuesday 11 August and 21:00 on Wednesday 12 August.
The crane will leave site after 18:00 on Wednesday 12 August.
