Can’t wait for the football World Cup this year? Except for the jammed pubs and blocked screens of course. Not exactly the nicest way of following the match. Or perhaps there has been a house veto of match watching and you need to find a welcoming local showing the matches.

This year, fans can plan ahead using an interactive map by opening-times.co.uk of the best pubs in London screening the tournament. The map shows opening times, screen sizes, beer prices, as well as whether the pub has a beer garden, stepless access and booking options.
The FIFA World Cup was first held in 1930, when FIFA president Jules Rimet decided to stage an international football tournament. The inaugural edition, held in 1930, was contested as a final tournament of only thirteen teams invited by the organization. Since then, the World Cup has experienced successive expansions and format remodeling to its current 32-team final tournament preceded by a two-year qualifying process, involving over 200 teams from around the world. This year the World Cup runs from 14th June - 15th July.
