Careers Development Group (CDG) is a registered charity that supports long-term unemployed people to improve their quality of life, through increasing their skills, raising their qualifications base and enabling a move into sustainable employment. The organisation is expanding and the new offices are more spacious and efficient, allowing the charity to service an ever increasing number of customers.

Through the provision of training and support in centres spread from the East Midlands to the Isle of Wight , CDG has empowered individuals to increase their skills, gain qualifications, improve their quality of life and find work. CDG's wide range of contracts support people aged 16-64 with some specifically aimed at people with disabilities, lone parents, black and minority ethnic groups and all other socially disadvantaged groups.
