Three days before Christmas Putney resident and member of this site, Carla Maurici discovered her cat Max with a bleeding eye. Obviously upset and concerned she took him to the vet where they discovered he had an Gat gun pellet in his eye which the vet managed to remove.

Carla who lives on Woodborough Road has since been informed that Max has lost his eyesight in the shot eye. She has also discovered that windows down the road have also been shot at by a gat gun - one assumes the same individual(s).

Carla said: "I am sickened by this cruel and mindless act.  Prior to this incident Max was such a friendly cat but he is now very nervous and this change in him is heartbreaking to see.  It is because of this that I am offering a reward to catch the people/person responsible"
