Second Cup Coffee Company opens its second London cafe
A branch of a Canadian owned coffee shop chain is to open in Putney. The new 2 floor café, with seating for over 50 customers, is located across from the Putney Exchange. Second Cup Putney opens featuring a preview of Second Cup’s upcoming summer drink promotion ‘Be Wild’; available in all other cafes globally starting on June 1st. Jim Ragas, President & CEO of The Second Cup Coffee Company Inc said, “We are proud to bring our assortment of Rain Forest Alliance coffees, delicious food, fresh cold-pressed juices, all natural frozen yogurt and irresistible sweets to Putney High Street”. Second Cup grew from humble beginnings in 1975 in Toronto, Ontario, and over the past 40 plus years the company has expanded globally to over 30 regions worldwide with over 160 cafes operating internationally. This year it will open five new cafes. Three are scheduled to open in London including Putney with new branches at St. Anns Shopping Centre in Harrow and on Kensington High Street, with further branches in Cardiff and Swindon. |
