A branch of a Canadian owned coffee shop chain is to open in Putney.

The new 2 floor café, with seating for over 50 customers, is located across from the Putney Exchange.

Naveen Akhund and Muaz Notiar who will be operating the branch as a franchise said:“It’s wonderful to be bringing Second Cup to Putney High Street. We think it’s the perfect addition to this neighbourhood; whether people need a break from shopping across the street, or a quiet place to study or are just looking for a great café with an amazing cup of coffee and a bite to eat, we’re ready for them!”

Second Cup Putney opens featuring a preview of Second Cup’s upcoming summer drink promotion ‘Be Wild’; available in all other cafes globally starting on June 1st.

This year it will open five new cafes. Three are scheduled to open in London including Putney with new branches at St. Anns Shopping Centre in Harrow and on Kensington High Street, with further branches in Cardiff and Swindon.
