Resident Artist Stella Tooth had been busy capturing the creative energy of some of the venue's best-loved bands to mark the iconic music venue’s 55th year.

An exhibition is taking place on Sunday 12 August from 1pm.

A proportion of the money raised from their sale will go to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Visitors to the exhibition will enjoy a complimentary Gin & Tonic from Sipsmith on arrival.

This weekend the exhibition is set against the backdrop of a very special day of music celebrating the Half Moon Putney’s amazing Folk heritage.

The ticketed event has two parts:

The popular Folksville club at The Half Moon in Putney was founded back in 1965 by guitarists Cliff Aungier, Gerry Lockran and Royd Rivers. Regular guests included Richard Thompson, John Martyn, Bert Jansch, Fairport Convention, Van Morrison, Ralph McTell, Wilko Johnson, Elvis Costello, Dr Feelgood, Steve Marriott, and of course The Who and Rolling Stones. The club became an iconic destination for Folk and Blues fans in swinging London, which continues to the present day.
