Council announces feedback meeting on 12th September

Residents living in Roehampton and the Putney Heath area of the borough can have their say on how public services are being delivered in Wandsworth at the next ‘Let’s Talk’ feedback meeting.

The meeting will be held on Monday, September 12 at 7.30pm at Holy Trinity Church in Ponsonby Road and will give residents living in Roehampton and Putney Heath ward the opportunity to raise local issues of concern and reveal their verdicts on a whole range of public services in the borough.

People often raise issues like parking, street cleaning, schools, housing, policing, public transport and the NHS - and suggest improvements in the way they are run.

The sessions are designed to give local people another way of highlighting issues with their elected representatives and town hall officials.

Monday’s meeting will be attended by the ward’s three locally elected councillors - Peter Carpenter, Sue McKinney and Jeremy Ambache and it will be chaired by the leader of the council Ravi Govindia.

Senior town hall officials will also be on hand to answer questions from the audience and listen carefully to ideas and suggestions on how services could be improved.

People who are unable to attend can submit questions in advance via the council’s website at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/letstalk. A summary of the issues raised by residents will be posted on these web pages after the meeting.
