The River Thames will be the subject of a public meeting taking place at London Rowing Club on Putney Embankment on Tuesday 3 February 2015 at 6.30pm.

Entitled ‘Your tidal Thames - today and tomorrow', the meeting will be chaired by Port of London Authority (PLA) chief executive Robin Mortimer together with PLA chief harbour master, David Phillips.





They will begin with a brief presentation on current and future matters about the tidal Thames. The floor will then be open to questions and discussion.

The meeting is open to anyone interested in the work and activities of the PLA on the tidal Thames and related river matters. Key issues include recreational use of the River; safety matters; and use of the Thames for passengers, leisure and cargo - with the main focus on the river between Putney and Teddington.

The meeting is free and open to anyone interested in current and future issues relating to the tidal Thames.
