President David Cairns will muse on the delights of Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony
The Putney Music Society is a society of classical music enthusiasts who meet fortnightly at the Dryburgh Hall at Putney Leisure Centre from September 2019 until April 2020
They have been having evenings with famous and upcoming musicians since for the past 70 years and their guests have been the cream of the classical musicians over that time. Putney Music was founded in 1950 by the critic and writer, Ralph Hill. It began as a Gramophone Society, and now provides a place where members and visitors can meet internationally renowned musicians in an informal setting.
