The Putney Society is hosting a Hustings for Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators on 5th February, 7.30pm, St Mary's Church.

The election to select five new Conservators will be held between 2 February and 25 February 2015, with postal ballots being sent to all residents registered to vote on the Electoral Roll who live within three-quarters of a mile of Wimbledon Common or within the old 'Parish of Putney' (which includes part of Roehampton).

There are 17 candidates, and this will be your chance to come and meet them, and ask them questions before you cast your votes.

The following candidates will be standing in the election: Andrew Bignold - David Birch - John Cameron -Timothy Daniel - Charles Dorin - Nicholas Evans -Archie Galloway - Shirley Gillbe- Ian Green- Clive Handford -Susan Jell- Keith Luck - Stuart MacWhirter -Andrew Simon - Robin Touquet - Neil Vass - Prue Whyte.
