Volunteers wanted to jump out of a plane |

“3 seconds of absolute terror, 4 minutes of absolute exhilaration"
VSO is an international development charity that sends skilled and qualified volunteers to work in countries where the need is greatest. They passionately believe that we make a difference in the fight against poverty through the work of our volunteers in a wide variety of disciplines. And you can make a difference. They ’re not asking you to commit to two years working overseas as a volunteer. They just ask for the four and a half minutes it takes you to jump out of an aeroplane and freefall from 12,000 feet, before feeling the reassuring pull as your parachute opens and you glide to earth. With a minimum registration fee of £40 and a number of jump sites across the country, it really is easy to take the steps towards making this summer a memorable one. If you have any questions please call the Events team on 020 8780 7289 or go to our website, www.vso.org.uk/events to register for an information pack. "Without a doubt the most terrifying, but fantastically exciting thing I have ever had the pleasure to experience.” July 7, 2006
