Still Time To Have Your Say On The Future Of Roehampton Playing Field |
You can share your views on line or by post until 23rd August People living in West Putney and Roehampton are being reminded that they still have just under a month left to submit their views on how the popular playing fields in Dover House Road could be improved. As part of the consultation local people are being asked what improvements they would like to see at the playing fields and how these could best be delivered. The playing fields currently offer: Five tennis courts “We are calling on all of these, and anyone else with an interest in the playing fields to give the council their views on how they use the playing fields now, what barriers they have to using the site, what activities they would like to see in future and the type of organisation they would like to see operating it. “And we are offering a guarantee that whatever the outcome of the consultation and how the site is ultimately managed in the future, that all the existing sports clubs and groups that use the playing fields have their interests protected and can continue to use it for as long as those future management arrangements remain in place. “What we want to ensure is that the playing fields continue to provide to all the existing users, and hopefully new ones too, the kind of high-quality sports and training facilities that meet the needs of local schools and sports clubs in the years ahead.” The public consultation continues until Friday, August 23.
