Scores On The Door rates Antipodea as needing 'major improvement'
Antipodea on the Lower Richmond Road has been told that 'major improvement' is necessary following a visit from the food hygiene inspectors in February. The group website describes the restaurant as 'an all-day Australian brasserie that converts from a laid back Melbourne affair to a hustle and bustling night time dining spot'. The level 2 rating means major improvement is required. The inspector's report states that there was little confidence in management and that the ratings specifically for Food Hygiene and Safety and Structural Compliance were poor. Scores on the Doors is a website that collates information on the food premises supplied by the Food Standards Agency and provided by local authorities. Wandsworth Council inspects most of the 2,132 food premises in Wandsworth each year - the aim as stated on the council website is to 'to ensure that food sold to the public is safe to consume'. |
