SW15: New (Estate) Agent In Town | ||
Wimbledon's success story launches in Putney – and lets vendors decide on commission
This week, Putney sees the official launch of SW15 estate agents - www.sw15.com. SW15 will offer property sales and rentals across the areas of Putney and Roehampton. With an office located on the Upper Richmond Road, SW15 already comes armed with a database of potential buyers and rental tenants. Over the coming weeks, the agency plans to vastly increase both its sales and rental portfolios. SW15 represents the expansion of SW19, the Wimbledon-based estate agent, which launched in 2005, and with its proactive approach and local knowledge regularly tops the sales leagues. Commenting on the Putney launch, Luke Bennett, managing director of the SW Group Ltd, said: “I believe the London property market is now on an upward trend. People have put their house move plans on hold during the past few months due to the tough economic climate but are now eager to get the ball rolling again. SW15, like its sister company SW19, will help them do that – and the opportunities that this will present will give us the chance to base our new business on solid foundations. “But, we appreciate that people selling their property need to have confidence in an agent's work, and in its brand. Although we hope our Wimbledon reputation paves the way for our arrival in Putney.” What makes SW15.com different from the other agents in Putney? If you mention PutneySW15.com or your local school when instructing SW15.com to market your property for sale, you will automatically entitle your school or a local charity of your choice to £500 upon completion. David Priestley will be relocating from the company's Wimbledon office to manage the Putney branch. His role will be to expand the team to 10-strong over the next six months. Bennett's overall aim is to emulate the success of the SW19 model. He added: “SW15 is just the beginning. We have plans to extend across the South West of London, and already have a presence in the SW20 and SW17 regions – all of which will be supported by the allinthepostcode brand.”
