On Friday 28th November, all the students, aged between 9 - 13 years from the Little Voices Putney performing arts training school, put on a spectacular performance of Matilda The Musical.

The square was filled with parents, friends and many local people who came along to see this well-known school’s talented students in action. Sam Regan, aged 12 years was the star of the performance, as the lead character: Miss Trunchball.

Principal of Little Voices, Ashlea Pearson commented: “For severals weeks everyone at Little Voices has been working hard towards there LAMDA examination pieces which they will be doing this weekend. I am thrilled we were given this fabulous opportunity, what better way
for our pupils to rehearse before the exam at this amazing event, we are so proud of them all.”

Pupils; Celeste Olomo, Edie Pettit, Tate Jackson, Aiyana Rennie and Sam Regan performed a
7 minute scene from the award winning musical tackling the famous ‘Revolting Children’
song.

" This performance was particularly brave, as many of the students had never sung in
front of an audience before. Nevertheless, they were flawless and appeared totally confident.
It was fantastic!”

“Being part of the performance was amazing, it was such good fun and it was lovely seeing
all my family and friends out in the audience supporting me and my group.”
Quote from Little Voices parent: “Thank you so much to Little Voices Putney, the Putney

stars. A very big well done to Ashlea and the Little Voices team, Thank you!”
