But at Train2Fight, you don’t have to punch anyone.
And even if you do, they won’t be strangers for long.

After a promising footballing career was cut short through injury, John turned to the ring and hasn't looked back.
From training wannabe boxers in any nook and cranny he could find to opening his first gym in Clapham, his passion is contagious - and he doesn't just talk the talk.
He has a semi-pro record of 14-1-2 and every now and then threatens to climb through the ropes for one last hurrah.
But most of his time is taken up bringing through the next batch of white collar fighters keen to shine under the lights.
And one of his star pupils is Lily, now his partner in crime at Train2Fight.
Having been a kickboxer for a decade - which included training and fighting in Thailand - Lily began training with John to improve her boxing and loved it so much she never left!
And then there's Kieran, the cheeky chappy once hailed as the next Vidal Sassoon but who now cuts off the ring instead of his customers' long locks.
So what can you expect when you walk through the gym doors?
Most of our members start with our popular Boxing Basics class which teaches the basic punches, footwork and defence drills while improving your fitness.
Once they're hooked (pun intended), we encourage them to take out full membership which gives them access to a wide variety of classes.
Members can improve their technique at our boxing skills or sparring classes which ensures they can hit but not get hit!
Or they can be put through their paces at a functional fighters conditioning class, a strength training session or Colin’s killer body-weight circuits class.
There is also the Get Fit Not Hit membership (no punching necessary); a mix of functional fitness, high-intensity interval training, remedial, posture, strength & conditioning and modified strongman training which means you can look like a boxer without having to throw a single punch.
And when you're ready to show off everything you've learned, you can enrol in our 10-week Fight Camp programme and compete on one of our boxing shows in front of several hundred people.
Our trainers will be on hand with advice on technique, ring craft, fitness and nutrition - and if you want to really feel like a fighter, you can spend a week in Marbella on our Fight Camp (cocktails not included).
We also offer tailored personal training as well as our 10 week body transformation Sustain the Frame programme which are designed with your goals in mind.
