Latest additions include Wasabi and a new pet store
There has been a welcome reversal to the trend of shops closing on Putney High Street with a number of new openings recently. Wasabi Sushi and Bento is a fast food chain restaurant specialising in Japanese food. Bento is a kind of lunchbox popular with office workers in Japan. It opened recently at 119 Putney High Street, the former premises of the TSB. Bone Daddies ramen bar opened up a few months ago further up the High Street providing even more choice for lovers of Japanese-style cuisine in SW15. Creatures London has opened a new pet store at 67 Putney High Street near the entrance to the Exchange which used to be a mobile phone store. The company has plans for expansion but Putney is its first venue in London. The ground floor offers products for cats and dogs with the basement featuring reptiles, fish, hamsters and small rodents. Dog and cat grooming services are provided on the first floor and small animal boarding is promised in the future.
