Staffing issues have left them unable to grow

The owners of Lazaro the traditional bakery that opened its doors the Upper Richmond Road in 2014 have sadly announced that it is closing.

On their Facebook page on owner Steve says that the bakery isn't going to open after the summer break and Saturday August 20th would be the last day of operation.

He said, ' With your help, we have built a brilliant business.

'But in order to move forward we need to grow.
In order to grow we need to recruit and retain staff.
Retaining staff is a problem we have not been able to solve.
I have therefore made the difficult decision to close the bakery from this weekend.

'Thank you for your incredible support and loyalty over the last 3 years. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to meet and get to know many of you. You will be missed.'
