Council leader goes online

as Council launches and on-line Q&A service

The newly created leader's page on the council's website will feature a regularly updated commentary on town hall matters.

Visitors to www.wandsworth.gov.uk/asktheleader will also be invited to submit their own questions to Cllr Lister or express their views on a topical issue.

All emails will be answered with a selection of the replies published on the website.

Cllr Lister said:

"Many people contact me by email already. By placing the new service prominently on the website I hope to make it even easier to get in touch."

In the first leader's diary for the site Clr Lister discusses new licensing regulations, post office closures and council leaseholders' concerns.
