Street crimes and burglaries reported to Putney police between 25 November and 1st December, 2005

Police have had reports of two men a blue Ford car ( model unknown ) stopping elderly people and offering them presents if they will accept a lift home. The driver of the car is a white male, aged 40, of stocky build. The passenger is also white, aged 50 - 60, with grey scruffy collar length hair and bad skin. It is not clear what their intentions are, but they are unlikely to be good.

Yellow Pages and other telephone directories will be delivered all over the borough between now and Christmas. Please ensure they are not left on doorsteps as an invitation to burglars.

One searched his pockets and stole his mobile phone.  1) Male, black, in a black tracksuit and a black Nike peaked hat 2) male, aged 16, black, with a diamond earring, in a black hooded top and a black hat with "London" written on it.
Robbery personal property	ROEHAMPTON LANE	28/11/2005	2215	Two 15 year old black youths followed victim from bus, punched him and searched his pockets.  1) Wearing a dark blue jacket 2) wearing a white jacket with fur trimmed hood, and blue and white patterned bandana.

Trained staff and volunteers, based in local branches, contact people after a crime has been committed, to offer free, confidential support and information.  The Police and other organisations refer victims of crime to Victim Support; however some people feel able to ‘pop in' to one of our branches to ask for assistance.

2) Community Policing Contact Centre, Islamic Centre, 145 Upper Tooting Road, London SW17 between 11am and 1pm on Saturday mornings will be pleased to mark mobile phones and other property, give advice and accept third party reports of crime.
