Police were called shortly before 05:00 on Sunday 6th July to reports of a man stabbed in the street in Putney Heath. A London Ambulance took the man - aged in his 20s - to a South London hospital where his condition is understood to be serious but stable.

Officers from Wandsworth CID are investigating.

23 year old Mizio Carvalho has been charged with section 18 GBH and has been remanded in custody to appear at South Western Magistrates Court on 8th July. 23 year old Carlos Seabre been charged with assisting an offender and has been remanded in custody to appear at South Western Magistrates Court on 8th July.

A 21 yr old male arrested in connection with this enquiry has been released.
