On Saturday 13th September 2008, the male victim was in a bar in Putney. He used his debit card to pay for drinks at the bar and then returned it to his wallet. On leaving the bar a while later, he discovered his wallet had been stolen.

In the half hour or so after he had used his card in the bar, a number of transactions were made using his recently stolen cards - this included at an ATM and at Putney Train Station.
