Police seek witness to fatality on Rocks Lane

as female pedestrian dies in hospital weeks later

The incident occurred on the 19th July 2004 at 10.25 am in Rocks Lane, Barnes. The 80 yr old female pedestrian was in collision with a White Ford Courier Van. Police attended at the time of the collision.

Next of kin are aware and the woman has been named as Mrs Betty Ramsay.

Mrs Ramsay was initially taken to hospital but later discharged as she was not thought to be suffering from serious injuries at the time. She was re-admitted to hospital two days and subsequently died on the 5th September 2004.
