Putney man arrested in connection with the murder of a Security Guard

Call for witnesses to lorry being dumped in Bessborough Way

Lee Davidson, 26, from Putney Vale and Reginald McGregor, 31 also from Putney were found guilty of the murder of Robert Wilson on 26.9.03 in Davis Road, Chessington and have been sentenced to life imprisonment.

They were also sentenced to 12 years for Robbery, 5 years for Burglary and 3 years for the theft of a lorry. These will run oncurrently.

The Judge recommended that they each serve a minimum of 18 years.

Robert Wilson was murdered on 26th September 2003
Judge James Stewart said to the men " You took the life of a loyal employee in the belief it would yield £10,000 ....This was a callous murder committed in the course of a burglary. None of you have shown any remorse for what you did."
