Police in Wandsworth are appealing for witnesses to an incident that took place on Monday 14th March on Bangalore Street, SW15.

At approximately 20:15 , a 33 year old woman was parking her silver BMW convertible car - index number DF02 UZB - on Bangalore Street.

As she left her car, two men on a moped confronted her and asked for her car keys. When she declined, one of the men then threatened her with what appeared to be a small gun.

The woman then handed over her car keys and her wallet, after which the first suspect got into her car and drove it in the direction of Putney High Street. The second suspect followed on the moped.

The man who threatened her is described as white, aged approximately 17ys, 5' 10" and wearing a grey and black 'Ecko' tracksuit. The second suspect is described as black, aged 17 and around 5' 10".

DS Dave Batt from Wandsworth Robbery Squad said, "This is an isolated incident in which a woman was subjected to a distressing ordeal that left her stranded without her car or her wallet. We would ask anyone who saw or heard anything on Monday evening or who knows anything about this incident to call us on 020 8247 8806 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
