In a much-needed boost to the local shopping centre, Mountain Warehouse opened a new store in the Putney Exchange this Friday (3 May).

The 4,000 square foot store unit (SU30-31) will feature womenswear, menswear, kidswear, footwear and equipment spread over one floor. This spring, bestsellers such as walking boots, waterproof jackets will feature in the store.

The company sells mainly own brand products and aims for prices to be affordable. Staff are trained to give advice and guidance on the product range. The company says the opening of the shop has created 12 new jobs in the local area.

The first ever store in the chain was in Covent Garden and this is the outdoor retailer’s tenth store in London. It has over 330 stores across the UK and in North America, Europe and New Zealand
