TeachOuts By Striking Academics | ||||
University of Roehampton academics on industrial action offer range of sessions
Academics on strike at the University of Roehampton have organised a number of teach out sessions which are open to the general public A spokesperson told this website: "Striking is a last resort and we regret the impact on students’ education. So, while classes are cancelled, please join us for free, public and alternative workshops and talks where you can join the experts to learn beyond the curriculum". There are no fees, no exams, no entry requirements. All are welcome, whether you usually have anything to do with the university or not. Entry is free Each speaker will present some ideas they find interesting in jargon-free style. Questions are encouraged, and the atmosphere is friendly. All sessions at The Kings Head (Hogarth Room), Roehampton High Street, SW15 4HL (unless otherwise stated).
