St Stephen’s Church, Putney, is this week celebrating the arrival of a new associate minister, David Meldrum.

David, 32, arrived at the Manfred Road church this week with his wife, Bev, from Upminster where he was on the staff of a local church. His work will focus on St Stephen’s and the community that it serves in East Putney.

Steve Melluish, vicar of St Stephen’s and St Michael’s, Southfields, said:
“It is great to have David on board at St Stephen’s. His enthusiasm, energy and passion is going to be a great inspiration to all of us”.

David Meldrum, associate minister added: “Putney is an exciting place to live and work and I am delighted to be joining the team at St Stephen’s. I am particularly looking forward to working hard at building good links between St.Stephen’s Church and the local community here in Putney”.
