Volunteers
required to help at the shop at the RSPCA Animal Hospital.
The
RSPCA Animal Hospital in Putney is looking for local people
could spare a few hours a week to help in the shop. We also
need people who can spare some time occasionally to do collections
or run tables at fairs and fetes. It is important that volunteers
are reliable - so please be sure about being able to promise
some time on a regular basis!
We hope to find people who love animals and really want to
be able to help them. All the money raised by the Friends
is used to purchase equipment and facilities for the animals.
In the last year, the Friends have bought an Anaesthetic machine
for the X-Ray room, two examination trolleys, a trolley for
storing emergency equipment, four scales for weighing cats,
etc. The list goes on and on. The hospital relies on this
money that the Friends raise to provide better quality care
and treatment than they would otherwise get.
So please try to find an hour or two to help. If you would
like to know more, give Angela Cope a ring on 020 8789 6745,
(Tuesdays and Fridays only) or come to the shop next to the
hospital and leave your name and number (6 Clarendon Drive).
