May 14, 2024 HAPPY 125TH BIRTHDAY PUTNEY LIBRARY - Putney Library was opened on 6 May, 1899. So It is 125 years old (and looking pretty good!) To celebrate, the library is holding two prize draws, one for children and one for adults. Pick up a form in the library for a chance to win a £20 book voucher. Closing date: 31 May, full Ts and Cs available in the library. MEET THE AUTHOR: MARY LAWSON THURSDAY 16 May 6.30-7.30pm Mary Lawson is the acclaimed author of “Crow Lake” and “A Town called Solace”. Fellow Canadian (and Putney Librarian) Charlene Coleman will be interviewing her about her writing process, her love of the Canadian landscape, and why success was a surprise.
