Leonie Cooper To Talk Transport at Putney Society Meeting | ||||
London Assembly Member for Wandsworth and Merton will be answering questions
Leonie Cooper, the London Assembly Member for Wandsworth and Merton, is to address a public meeting hosted by the Putney Society on Monday 28 November. The Putney Society often raises local transport issues of interest but it says this meeting will provide a chance to ‘kill a number of birds with one stone’. Ms Cooper has been invited to update Putney residents on the latest Transport for London budget settlement with the government, the lack of buses serving Roehampton and the very erratic service on the District Line. Other issues may be addressed depending on questions asked by those present at the meeting. You can also attend online by emailing registration@putneysociety.org.uk. You will be sent a link, and can ask questions in the chat. Putney Society, a registered charity, is an amenity society run by volunteers to preserve and enhance our local heritage and community. The Putney Society’s website contains more information about many other local issues and how to become a member.
