Ongoing works to refurbish Stamford Brook station will mean that the station will be completely closed from 14th January until start of service on 23rd January 2006.

During the nine-day station closure, all trains will non-stop at Stamford Brook and no ticketing issuing facilities will be available. A bus replacement service will operate on weekdays from 16th to 20th January from Stamford Brook to Turnham Green every 5 minutes during peak times and every 10 minutes during the off-peak period.

The majority of works, to be undertaken by Metronet, will take place in the ticket office and will involve the removal of internal walls.

The already scheduled suspension of services between Hammersmith and Acton Town / Gunnersbury on the weekends of 14th / 15th and 21st / 22nd January 2006 are for track maintenance and improvements.  A replacement bus service will operate on these dates.
